The cross-over is a jazz step used, for example, in the Shim Sham. Here you will learn how to use it in partner dancing.
Hint: On entry, the leader must switch legs. The goal is to do the rock step (on beat #1) with the right (!) foot to the right (direction). In the tutorial below, one way to do this is shown – simply do one more fast step. I prefer the following easy cheat: do step-step instead of the last triple step.
